Hallmark Securities Ltd. (HSL) is a private company limited by shares and registered with the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms. It is a founder member of Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd., one of the two bourses of the country. The Exchanges, however very recently demutualized and thereby HSL has become one of the 148 shareholders of the Exchange.  The main business of Hallmark Securities Ltd. is to buy and sell securities, bonds and debentures on behalf of its customers and for its dealer account, the account HSL maintains to invest its own capital. Besides, on a limited basis, HSL extends Margin Loan and/or arranges loans from other financial institutions under its guarantee.
